2009 Contract Proposal Meeting Postponed
Brothers and Sisters,
The Executive Committee of the Hamilton Professional Fire Fighters Association is hereby notifying the Membership that the 2009 Contract Proposal meeting, scheduled for November 25th 2008, has been postponed. This postponement was requested by the Corporation and agreed to be by the Association in the hopes that the Board of Arbitration will have issued its award before our first scheduled bargaining meeting of February 24th 2009. The Parties have agreed that if the Board of Arbitration has not issued its award by February 24th, we will exchange proposals, with the caveat that any additional amendments after that date, would have to be directly subject to or impacted by the award.

2008 Pensioners Banquet
The 2008 Pensioners Banquet was another great success with over 220 Pensioners, active Fire Fighters and Honoured Guests in attendance. Those on hand honoured new Retirees Frank Coruzzi, Bill Melnyk, Ross Blair and Tom Worsley. Pictures of the event can be seen in the photo gallery. Special thanks to Rob Kimbell for organizing another great event and congratulations to our new Retirees.
