This past Saturday the Hamilton Professional Firefighters Association presented their 3rd annual Hamilton Firefighters Charity Ball. This year marked a move to a new facility, the Sheraton Grand Ballroom, to accommodate the growing demand for tickets to this annual event.

Several local dignitaries, including Mayor Bob Bratina and Dr. Anthony Lombardi, were in attendance as Hamilton Firefighters presented over $15,000 to local Food and Nutrition programs as well as a reconnect with the Hamilton Burn Unit. Beneficiaries this year included Food4Kids, Inner City Breakfast Program and Franklin Road School Nutrition Program.

Thanks to the generosity of Dr. Lombardi and his $1 per jacket contribution from donated winter jackets, in which he collected 1451 jackets, Hamilton Firefighters were influenced to reconnect with our old partners at the Hamilton Burn Unit and renew a partnership of funding.

Thank you to those who attended and supported our 3rd annual Firefighters Charity Ball, this year we were a sell out with 350 guests in attendance. Your continued support enables us to make donations such as these at our annual events. The 4th annual Hamilton Firefighters Charity Ball will take place on Saturday, February 8th, 2014.
