The Hamilton Professional Fire Fighter’s Association (HPFFA), Local 288 is proud to support Autism Ontario with the World Autism Awareness Day in Hamilton. This event took place on Saturday, March 30 at the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board. Hundreds of attendees had opportunities to learn about support options, review available programs, network with organizations and other families, play games, interact with service dogs and many more educational provisions. In addition, the event hosted a clown, face painting, an HFD crew & fire truck, Home Depot building area, free Tim Hortons hot drinks, giveaways, vendors and more.
The HPFFA Charity was proud to provide a $1,000 donation to support this worthy cause and event.
