The 7th annual Miracle Plane Pull for McMaster Children’s Hospital was held at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum at John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport on Sunday, June 23. This exciting event had over 30 teams with 15-25 members making the best of two opportunities to pull Mohawk College’s Boeing 727, which tips the scales at 125,000 pounds! The Miracle Plane Pull is in support of McMaster Children’s Hospital Foundation and subsequently the thousands of children from across the region who benefit from the incredible care at McMaster Children’s Hospital!
The Hamilton Fire Fighters Association Charity was able to raise and donate $1,500 to this great event and incredibly worthy cause. In addition, the HPFFA crew put another team on the tarmac to test their strength and grit against the 727! With all of the teams participating, the fun at the Warplane Heritage Museum, food trucks, displays, mascots and entertainment, it was again a great event and fundraiser to be a part of. Thank you to the McMaster Children’s Hospital Foundation for putting on a great event & fundraiser.
