On Saturday, May 23, the Cancer Assistance Program will host it’s annual 5km Care Walk (with a small change this year).  Due to Covid-19, the walk will be virtual with participants taking part in their local neighbourhoods, communities or homes in a safe and proper social distancing manner.

The HPFFA will be there in virtual spirit, with members participating when and where they can.  In addition, the HPFFA Charity has made a $5,000 donation to the Cancer Assistance Program to help them continue doing the incredible work they do for Hamilton residents.  All funds for this donation were raised through the HPFFA member payroll contribution program in which members voluntarily donate off their respective pay cheques.

The Cancer Assistance Program (CAP) is a community-based, not-for-profit organization offering free services for individuals and families affected by cancer, living in the greater region of Hamilton and surrounding communities.  Visit CAP to learn more, to find out about volunteering opportunities or to make a donation.
