The HPFFA Charity is proud to donate $2,000 to the Hamilton General Hospital for the annual Strides For The General fundraiser. As 2021 is a year like no other, Strides is temporarily rebranding as Strides for Health Care Heroes. Representing the HPFFA is past Strides Ambassador & HPFFA member, Charlie Madder!
The Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation says “This temporary new name captures the Strides our community will be taking to show their immense appreciation and support for the amazing health care heroes who are working tirelessly at Hamilton General Hospital, the Regional Rehabilitation Centre and St. Peter’s Hospital”.
The 2022 fundraiser has an incredible donation matching program in which for every $1 donated, it will be matched with $3 from a group of generous donors supporting the HHSF COVID response!
The virtual fundraiser runs from September 17 to 26! Supporters can participate by running (5 or 10 km) or walking (5 km) in the community while fundraising for priority equipment needs at Hamilton General Hospital, the Regional Rehabilitation Centre and St. Peter’s Hospital.
