Since 2015, the HPFFA Charity has been organizing a Charity Hockey Tournament benefiting Food4Kids Hamilton. This tournament has teams of fire fighters, police, paramedics, corrections staff, border security and pre-service college students competing in multiple divisions.
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, there will be no 2020 event. However, long time partner and friend of the Charity, tandia financial credit union, has stepped up to continue with a title sponsorship donation for what would have been the 6th annual event. Tandia has donated $10,000 every year and has done so again in 2020! That’s $50,000 to the HPFFA Charity for Food4Kids Hamilton since 2016 from tandia.
With this support from tandia, the HPFFA Charity was proud to make a $15,000 donation to Food4Kids Hamilton on August 17, in lieu of the funds that would have been raised from the Charity Hockey Tournament.
