The HPFFA Charity is proud to support Comfort Bears with a $5,000 donation. Comfort Bears is a Hamilton charity which provides cuddly teddy bears to children facing serious illness or who have experienced trauma. Comfort Bears knows having a bear to hold onto can make a big difference for a child going through difficult times in their young lives.
These special Bears are provided to hospitals when children are admitted for long-term stay or requiring multiple-surgeries to manage an illness. The bears are also provided to certain first responders to provide to children during a crisis.
